ABOUT US
The Paddle Shack is a locally owned and operated business located at Nickel Plate Beach in Huron, Ohio. We rent paddle boards, kayaks, pedal kayaks, water mats, beach chairs, and umbrellas. We also have a supply of other beach related items for sale along with our very own snack shack where you can purchase snacks and refreshments.
We are open daily from 11 AM to 5 PM (weather permitting) from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
ABOUT OUR LOCATION
Nickel Plate Beach
Location: Off Tiffin Ave., then Nickel Plate Drive. Hours: Dawn to Dusk. Scenic view of the Lake Erie Lighthouse. Public beach. Picnic shelters, grills, playground, beach volleyball courts, permanent outdoor ping-pong table, and corn-hole boards. No lifeguard on duty – swim at your own risk. BEWARE OF CURRENTS. Huron City Ordinance prohibits dogs at Nickel Plate Park from Memorial Day through Labor Day during the hours of 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Daily parking fee of $6 per car. Season passes are available for purchase.
